April 2, 2005- The AAUW Student Affiliates at ASU West will be hosting a "Transitions Conference" at Glendale Community College, which will include an inspirational keynote speaker and provide workshops addressing the issues facing adults considering returning to college. The prospective students will eat lunch in the cafeteria and take a tour of the campus facilities during which they will be introduced to the available support services such as tutoring, financial aid, and computing assistance.

November 6th: The ASU West Student Affiliates will host an AAUW forum entitled Education in Crisis: A Call to Action, which will address the issues in public education today. After which there will be a discussion on issues in higher education with our student members acting as panelists.
